So the Doosan Bears have partnered with Adidas for the 2025 Season…

So as we know it was confirmed that the Bears and Fila have parted ways after thirty-years together as they decided to partner with Adidas instead. That created curiosity of what the new uniforms were gonna look like but that curiosity was pretty short lived as a leaked image of what possibly the new uniforms looked like graced the internet causing mixed reviews. Before moving on, I wanna cut in here to say, the uniforms really aren’t that bad.
On the 13th, the Bears (doosanbears.1982 : Instagram) officially released the new uniforms, BI (Brand Identity) and an event that’ll last from the 13th to noon on the 15th to win table seat tickets to the 2025 Season Home Opener. More about the event later, back to the uniforms and BI. Though I understand people’s apprehensiveness on the switch and the jersey’s - I actually don’t mind the new uniforms and BI.

I feel that with the Adidas collaboration, they went with a more retro vibe for the 2025 season which I don’t mind. The BI is cute and really enhances those vibes with the font on the jersey’s and the baseball caps. Now, this could be me being a little bias as I lean more into those vibes and styles. I love styles that are nostalgic to my upbringing and my childhood, so this is definitely leaning more my vibe. This new era for Doosan will be interesting to see from both the players on the diamond and from a creative lens. There are a lot of possibilities to be creative with future merchandise items from a more ‘retro’ vibe that has had a resurgence amongst the younger demographic.
